Video - E90 330i at Laguna Seca with TrackMasters Racing

The rain stayed away allowing for a dry day. Track temps remained cold, but no standing water. The berms and paint was still slick as a couple cars found out and went up close and personal with the tire barrier inside of turn 4.

I improved on my old time of 1:56 with a 1:52. Two videos, one inside mount and one roof mount. Prefer the roof mount. Ignore the radar detector cord hanging down.

Mods: M3 control arms, Vorshlag C/C plates -1.5 camber, 18x9 D-Force LTW wheels w/ 255/35 Dunlop Star Specs all around, Stoptech ST60 BBK.

Sweet!

Nice and aggressive. Great lines but you can hear the tires rolling over. I'm the worst at carrying too much speed into corners.

Gotta mention your brakes too. They make a big difference at Laguna.

Doh. Thought my mod list was short. Add a stoptech bbk to it.

I don't. I have a video with a passenger and a Vette that won't get out of the way from that day. 1:51 is the best from that run.

I did a 1:47 lap...but I dont have video...I think I have several videos at 1:49. I think with wider tires...a decent oil cooler...some decent camber...I could have done a 1:45. I kept getting check engine lights and limp modes. Ugh.

Great stuff! Your vids are some of my favorites due to the interesting vantage points and resolution quality. Dropping 4 sec from your last visit is good work. Laguna is on my "must drive" list, but you're making it difficult to wait!

Was the 1:47 with the Tune? What do you think R compounds are worth for time? My Direzzas are pretty grippy. Are the Rs much more grippy?

I'm trying to get down to 1:48 with streets and stock power. I just need shave 4/10s.

The heat soak definitely pulls power as you get into hotter laps. Just got an AR Oil Cooler so that should help.
