Extended Warranty?

Hi , my E92coupe factory warranty expires at the end of March, Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced extented / aftermarket comprehensive warranty as im shocked at the BMW extended warranty cost , which is effectivley just an insurance policy just like any other aftermarket warranties out there??

thank you

I wouldn't assume that Jingle, some are not worth the paper they're written on and some have maximum claim limit in £££ which wouldn't even pay for a decent inspection and some don't use genuine parts.

Study the small print carefully

if i had the option, i would always extend BMW warranty! what is it these days? £1200 a year?? when my last car was in warranty i always managed to find enough warranty work to make it pay for its self, plus selling on its a big plus point to have extended dealer warranty...

but it depends on how long you plan to keep it for i suppose...

My BMW warranty was £350, £100 excess and no emergency service.

Aftermarket warranties were much more based on main dealer rates.

I have just bought the comprehensive at £427.00 annual payment. Beware of others because I bought one from Warrenty Direct for my Citreon and they are a bunch of sharks, first claim was for front calipers because the handbrake mechanism had siezed, they refused to pay because it was corrosion. This was on a car with full service history, in fact I had the brakes stripped and checked every six months but it was a waste of time.

I've got to agree with your comment about Warranty Direct, never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever again!

Got my quote today £520 no excess with full recovery (Full Package). You can play around with excess £100 or £250 per claim and reduce quote or cut the recovery to roadside assist over 1/2 mile from home.

Maybe the cars are uploading telemetry!!

If you're the type that spanks the shit out of your motor everywhere you go there's a higher chance of stuff failing so the prices they quote you are higher!!
