Side view mirror; how to increase range of sight without looking stupid?
Besides the stick on convex circles, are there any products you guys could suggest to increase the inner view angle of the side mirrors? I know the Euro M3 glass is wide angle, but is there anything that will fit standard e90 mirrors or add on to improve view without sticking out like a sore thumb?

Where do I get the euro glass? Do you know how much that runs? It's mostly for my driver side so I don't curb my wheels and dont have to adjsut the mirror everytime. Its not that I need it, just peice of mind. If I cant find something reasonable I can live without it. Thanks for the tip!

well i have euro glass and the driver side mirror just doesnt provide enough coverage IMHO . You can adjust the passenger side more than the driver side.

Also, if you adjust your mirrors "out" more, you can decrease your blind spots (read an article about this a long time ago).
lean your head all the way to the left, and adjust your left mirror out until the rear of your car is just out of view. Then lean your head to the right, and adjust the right mirror out until the edge of your car is just out of view. believe it or not, this helps a lot. you can fine tune a bit after that, but I find that setting the side mirrors out a lot wider greatly reduces my blind spots. |
