I am currently running and RR OCC ... yes its leaky and im not happy with it (planning on replacing it soon)... but i also have another problem... where part #9 connects to the engine it appears to be loose and slowly leaking oil... i ordered a new #9 part but still had the same problem, anyone have any advice ? I currently put a rubber washer in there to try and make a slightly better seal but its still loose.

please reread what i said... the part is LOOSE and i dont know why ... i replaced it thinking that i broke something in taking it off and its still loose

It happends the same to me, I used some tie wraps to try to keep that tube in place and see if doesnt leak anymore.

I have to take out the cover again to see if it worked!

I also ordered a new #9 just in case

once he identifies if that solved problem he can find a more fitting solution.

I understand your concern but the problem is that the Occ hoses are heavier than the stock and apply down pressure to the stock fitting (#9) and it doesnt seal properly. With the tie wrap you mantain the fitting in the center.

When you install back the engine cover the tie wraps are not going to be seen. The only other idea is to clean thar very carefully and use some silicone.

The left hose is the one leaking, if you do a search you will find we are no the first.
