STD Suspension, cheaper, but is it better than KW or HR?

I contacted them here in Canada as a suggestion by a friend and this is what I got from them (see below). What do you guys think?

"Yes we have suspension systems for BMW E90/92. For the 335 XI model, only the spring rates should change, I called our local BMW dealership and he confirmed that the suspension should work on the XI.

We recommand you the Std R3, everything is adjustable, height, pre-load, compression and rebound. The kits also includes the front camber plate.

With a KW V3, to lower the car you need to lower the springs, therefore you lose shock travel, with our systems, you adjust the height by the lower mount, therefore you keep 100% of the suspension stroke travel"

"Price for the R1 (Height adjustable, dampening adjustable, pre-load adjustable)

Price for the R3 (R1 + front pillow ball upper mount + adjustable camber)
1489$

I don't think the struts are compatible between xi and non xi setup.

never heard of the std r1. however i did get pricing on h&r fullcoilover for 1700shipped fromm BC. still havent made up my mind on which way to go, still thinking about just h&r sport springs stock shocks. 335xi im talking about..

I don't think the xi and i are the same. Actually pretty sure about this. Post in the xi subforum and you will get a real answer...

Mine are problem free.

Did you ever stop to think people only post about the negative things on the forum?

No one is going to make a thread about how their KW's have been bulletproof.

mine make a slight swoosh sound when going over speedbumps in malls. Other than that an awesome set of coilovers

Really... are we on the same forum.... I read tone of positive reviews on the products people used in their Bimmers. However when there is a 10 page thread about complains with KW's it's a bit hard to ignore it....
