M steering wheel

I'm thinking of upgrading my steering wheel.

I have this one installed:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...17&hg=32&fg=35

And I want to get this one:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...19&hg=32&fg=35

My question is, can I use the airbag and other stuff from my current steering wheel with the new M steering wheel?

And one more thing, does anyone know where I can order an M steering wheel online?

Regards,
Markus

Welcome.

Yes, you can use your airbag, trim and buttons with your new M-sport steering wheel. However, you might wanna change your trim aswell to complete the M-sport look. You can get the wheel fairly cheap on ebay.

How much would it cost to have the dealer swap the original steering wheel with a new Msport steering wheel? Im assuming this includes replacing the airbag mechanism..

I hear its a fairly simple diy. no point in spending hundred at the dealer when you can follow the tutorials on this site.

Hey,
Currently we are indefinitely out of stock of the Mtech wheel. We sell a sport M3 wheel for paddle shifters as well as any of our wheels for Manual Transmission cars.. Please PM for more info!

P.S DO NOT HAVE THE DEALER REPLACE THE WHEEL! it takes 20 minutes and is one of the easiest mods ever!
