i guess the option is an attentive driver..

in all seriousness, he might be talking about adaptive cruise control. welcome to the forums, but.. this should be on the General subforum, not the FI one.

Adaptive cruise.

If it's your cup of tea, go for it. Personally, I never use cruise control.

Total waste of money IMO. How many times do you want to draft behind someone else breathing in all the freaking smoke they spew? And if you ever want to sell the car and think that will add even one penny to the car's value, think again. Worthless and you'll rarely ever use the pointless granny feature. BTW it "slows down" the car, it wont totally stop it. In other words, don't expect it to prevent a collision because it wont, just not what its designed for, so its worth even less. I have had my car 3yrs now, and never ever used cruise control. I don't even use it on my SUV let a lone the BMW. Its good on a Buick maybe, not in our cars.

Completely useless option too IMO, wish I saved the $. I used it once to see if it worked, it did, and never used it again. Worked as advertised but I would be scared if someone jumped on their brakes, I don't think this would react fast enough. I use autopilot in my plane, but would never use one on the road, too many what-ifs.
