My Attack On Black!!

Well as most of you Know JET BLACK (shwartzII) Is one of the most beautiful colors Bmw has to offer!!
Yet its probably the hardest to upkeep as well!!
Given all my options of other colors I actually ordered a SG but couldnt resist the JB..sometimes I regret getting the black until now.
I have done alot of research on detailing products and there uses and how to use them in conjuction with each other so u get the best protection/durability!! Ive used pretty much everything in the book!! Zaino has great Durability but lacks in shine IMO and has only a few products to choose from..
I feel know with my knoweldge of products and paint care No color should be a problem to take care of..
Ive been to alot of detailers and got all about the same opinion on my car!! My car has tooo thick of an uneven clear coat causing and leaving severe orangepeel and lots of scratches due to poor washing and who knows what else!!
ALL reccommend WET SANDING!! I havent broke down to that yet for as long as i keep getting the results with what i used this week ill be happy!!
So know for
MY ATTACK ON BLACK!!
PRODUCTS
MEGUIARS PROFESSIONAL LINE
  1. Meguiars G100A DA orbital
  2. Meguiars #83 with a 7006 pad (maroon)
  3. Meguiars #9 Swirl remover 2.0 with 8006 pad
  4. Meguiars #7 Show Car Glaze with 9006 pad
  5. Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealant with 9006 pad
  6. Meguiars #26 Yellow Wax applied with applicator pad.
Ive always used the 2bucket wash method but never used the grit guards till this week.. Ive noticed a huge amount of dirt in the bucket compared to before im quit impressed with how a stupid peice of plastic at the bottom helps soo good!!
so I washed my car with a good mixture of dawn/water let it sit on the car to ensure most of the wax removal!! then I dry with the ABSORBER..
FIrst is the #83 which is a medium compound and I used it with the cutting pad which left a good haze and dullness in my paint..So then I used the #9 which is a light compound/polish to get the paints shine back..it really brought the shine back and u could really tell what was done and what wasnt thats for sure! So then I went with a pure polish #7 to really bring out that wet look...I then used #21 one coat of it let it dry and removed it all.my paint felt great at this point and i wanted to test its durability and wanted to ensure i got all the residue off so I washed it with Gold Class car wash really lightly..I was impressed already with the beading everywhere as it was but I wanted to ensure the durability and see if I can get the last bit of POP out of it..So i dryed it off with the absorber and put a nice layer of #26 on it and let it dry for a good couple hours this time!! I removed all the wax and was amazed how deep the shine was compared to just the previous coat of #21!! so im sure you all want to see how this blacky turned out!! well heres a couple pics!

Incredible! I love those wheels on the E90 but they must be a b!tch to clean.

Pics are amazing as always. Your hard work has definitely paid off.

DAMN bother!!
Your car is so clean man everything flows perfect, and the pics are a nice improvement. If I could make one suggestion...most of them look a bit oversharpened on my monitor but other then that they are great.

I hope you don't mind I had to put some post work on this one it's such a sweet pic. Keep it up!

Thanks ryan i really appreciate it!! ive been trying so hard to find locations and am finally understanding how aperture/shutter speed work together to give me the results im after!! well kinda!!lol...
thanks for your suggestions, they are always welcome!! i honestly didnt do much I only used the brightness/contrast sliders to fix my stupidity out in the field for taking them with too much light!! lol... I really need to learn how to use photoshop better and im sure they could look even better!!
but between my new lense and my hefty tripod ill get it together sooner or later!!!

Nice! My only suggestion is that the photos seem a little sharp and overexposed. Here's a quick edit.

I absolutely love those wheels. There's a new M5 in my garage at work and your car reminds me of it. Stunning results my friend and it shows how beautiful black can look on these cars!

sup uhaul!
orangepeel is basically a lumpy texture!! like the texture on your walls in the drywall. known as knockdown or orangepeel! its just a term used in reference to describe the look of the texture of the paint. u cant feel it u can only see it!

I dont really like M5 rims on most e90s but your car makes them look really really good. You car is tastefully modified and looks amazing. Very good job detailing btw
