Facelift bonet to fit pre facelift
Another question to the floor
I really like the front bonet on the the facelift model with the two extra creases from the centre of the roundel BMW badge going out. Has any one fitted the new facelift bonet on the pre facelift. Are the sizes the same ? or is there any aftermarket facelift bonet to fit the pre facelift.. And im not trying to make my 56 plate look like the facelift model if thats what your thinking. |

How about taking your car to a proper body shop and asking them to do something creative for you. Rather than bolting on a new bonnet to an old car?!

Without any fact, i think it would fit. LCI headlamps fit the pre-lci, so this should just be a replace job
But while I agree the LCI bonnet is great, it would still look like you are trying to make your car a LCI.......maybe BMW performance bits the way to go http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=361930

IIRC the new bonnet will not fit an older car.

The bumper will fit as long as you fit the matching front bumper, grilles and lower bumper grilles. Don't be put of by what the guys on here say its your car so do as you want it will cost a lot less than moving up to a facelift model but as long as you keep all your old parts you can return it to standard when selling so as not to devalue it and then you can sell your facelift parts seperately to help offset your original costs
go for it Last edited by tiw30; 03-15-2010 at 05:51 PM.. Reason: felt like it |
