JB3 2.0 Map3 tested..it's so smooth but...

Got a chance to test drove my friend's JB3 2.0 Map 3 today...
It's so smooth (Like other people said); however, I was not surprised...
It's so smooth and you can't feel the "kick" like Dinan over 3K rpm...
It's so smooth and it won't throw you in your seat...

Well....I still like it but hopefully Map 5 will surprise me

Or, put race gas in it and run 8 or 9.

I have done that the last few days. (Although I have 1.4) Pretty fun!

Map 3 on 2.0 compared to 1.4 are totally different now. I would say Map 5 on 2.0 is the new map 3 on 1.4

It's still very smooth and doesn't violently put you in your seat like 1.4 did, but you can tell the power is there all thoughout the power band.

I wasnt to excited about the 2.0beta either and Im on map 7. 1.4 definetly had more of a "kick", but this is still in the beta process, so im sure it will get better

2.0 is better! The down low power is where it's at! It feels nothing like 1.4, you have to try it out yourself to understand how great it is. The "kick" in 1.4 was awesome but you really had to be at WOT above 4500 RPM for you to feel the max potential of the tune. With 2.0 you can feel it immediatly.

I have the JB3 2.0beta and it is definetly better...alot more power at partial throttle and the car seems alot more driveable vs 1.4..I just kinda liked the raw power feeling of the 1.4, but thats just me

I have JB3 2.0 right now. Stock on Map 3. Wasn't too impressed after hearing all the great things about JB3. Maybe I should try map5 like you guys said.

Lol if you guys like raw power you should get yourself a JB2H, now that was a kick in the pants.

Map 5 is normally fine for a stock car on 93 octane but a DCI would definitely help.

Someone should write a review for 2.0 Map 5
Since 2.0 Map 3 is too "Smooth", I guess lots of people will miss the raw power feeling of the 1.4
BTW..I think 2.0 has the ability to let user adjust Torque settings....Can you get the raw power feeling back by adjusting the settings??
