Kw V1 or H&R Coilover or Eibach pro kit&Bilistein Shocks

right now I have some options are:
Kw V1 -- H&R Coilover--Eibach pro kit&Bilistein Shocks---H&R sport spring with OEM Shocks
Which one you guys think more reliable?
Just confusing now, a lot people compain about KW v1 but right now I am thinking to get Eibach pro kit&Bilistein B8 Shock (any place to get cheaper for these items)
I want the car more comfortable not too stiffing to drive.

FYI, I heard H&R coilovers aren't protected from rust or corrosion. Might be something you guys would want to consider, depending on your location's weather conditions. You can always swap them out every season but it's a PITA. I'm in the same boat, I don't know if I want shocks and springs or KW V1's. I'm kinda leaning toward the V1's because I want height adjust-ability...I'm not really concerned with damper or rebound because I don't track the car so getting V2's or V3's would be overkill for my application. Ohh and I wouldn't put springs on with the OEM shocks. They will wear faster as the spring rate/height is different.

You can purchase anti-corrosion/rust lubricant for like $15 and spray it on the H&R coils so I wouldn't worry about that. I've heard that springs + shocks won't fix the xi's rake (front higher than the rear) so that's something to consider. Also, the Eibachs aren't made for the xi, only the i, so running them may result in a harsher ride down the line..

I love my KW's so far. If you want ride comfort and can go the extra mile on the finance end, go KW V3. Their levels of adjustability can make a world of difference.

What tire sizes are you running, and did you roll your fenders? If no roll, about how much clearance do you have?

KWv1 here and I have had no problems whatsoever. It's been almost a year in NYC roads. No squeak, no chirp and the ride is not that harsh at all. My girlfriend thinks it is smoother than the stock setup actually. I just love the beautiful turn-in now.

Glad to see you are happy with the KW Coilover sir and I couldn't agree more! If you have the extra funds the KW V3 will provide you with not only height adjust-ability but also damping and compression as well!

Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110
Front - 235/35
Rear - 265/30

Alufelgen SF-71
Front - 19x8.5 ET35
Rear - 19x9.5 ET35

There's no roll and so far, there's no rub. I took the advice of the wheel manufacturer for the sizes.

Thanks for the reply, I've ordered v1 and SF71 but with 275/30 Bridgestone RE760's on the rears, from what I can see it's a 50/50 chance I may need a bit of fender roll.

So, I really want to lower my car but I don't want ride quality to be too harsh. I have an xi, so, my stock suspensions aren't the ZSPs. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being very harsh, how would people rate the following?

1. Stock Suspension
2. ZSP
3. H&R Sport Spring
4. Eibach Pro Spring
5. KW V1, V2, V3 coilovers

I've heard only bad things about coilovers so far for the Xi. H&R's corrode, KWV1's leak after 5 months, and KWV3 leak and chirp. Do a quick search you will find more information on it. It is for that reason i chose to stay with Eibach/Bilstein combo.

+1 on Eibach/Bilstein combo...every day I drive im reassured I made the right choice. I haven't even switched to Non-run flats yet!

Really, I heard about the chirp with the KWV3 but not the leaking. I was just about to pull the trigger on these.. Such a small aftermarket for the XI it's painful to need to research over and over just to make sure you don't make the wrong decision.
