No dealer will do it bcs illegal - you need to find yourself a tech off duty with the proper tools.....(computer skills and access to the interface)

I wish the E90 used the angel eyes as DRL's like the E92. Does anyone know if 07 E90's do?

BTW... I hate the DRL's, that's why the first thing I do when I get in the car is hit the fog lights button to turn on the xenons. If you leave the headlights set to auto this works, and you don't need to remember to turn them off when you stop the car.

The idrive option is not enabled here-because of Transport Canada.

I've actually been flamed before for posting that I put my xenons on during the day...

1) Anyone that thinks either the fogs or the xenons are even remotely blinding to daylight adjusted eyes is on crack.

2) Having your lights on during the day makes you more visible to other drivers and thereby reduces your chances of being involved in an accident.

That is all.

Ok, I can buy the crack during daytime argument - but tell me, do you have the same set up at dusk, and do you use foggies at night ?

If it's dark I usually don't bother... but still, the fogs aren't bright enough to bother anyone, really!!

I get in the car and I press start, fogs, DTC. It's a total habit.

Ivan... I already told you where to go... I used to work at Parkview, but they won't do it due to by-laws and liabilities.

If anybody needs their DRLS reprogrammed for E46's and up... just shoot me a PM, and I'll tell you where to go.

07' E90 uses the halogen in the headlight for DRL. The DRL cannot be disabled in the BC.

Kind of funny that Xenon and fogs are mentioned, I think my auto headlight is too sensitive to the point where it turns itself on in the morning and in overcast weather. So I just turn the Xenon off manually to let it run on DRL.

I find the BMW Xenons are typically set at a lower angle than some Japanese cars, so the glare is not as bad. The self-levelling helps a lot as well. A lot of the early Japanese cars w/ Xenon doesn't have them. Driving in front of them are a PITA.

I believe most recent Audis uses the front fogs as DRL.
