diesel particle filter problems
Thanks to this forum I have reset my brake warning light, thank guys. Does anyone know why after 5 minute driving my diesel particle filter warning icon bleeps and turns on, it will then go off and re-appear periodically. My bm is a E90 330d M Sport 2006. 49000 miles on the clock the dealer wants my house and shirt of my back just to diagnose the problem
Can anyone help? |

Not sure there is an easy fix for DPF issues, you do need to find what is wrong by a hook up for fault codes.
Just a thought, what sort of journeys do you do? Is it getting opportunity to regenerate properly. HighlandPete |

Ours failed a while back at around 28k miles. It was in the dealer twice while they reset the fault codes and tried to get the DPF to regenerate itself by taking it for a long run. This failed so it was replaced under warranty. Is the car still under warranty?
