BNW Roadside Assist or NRMA Roadside Assist?
Hi, due for my roadside assist thing, BMW roadside assist is $100, wondering if the NRMA one is better. Never had to use BMW Assist except for once when my runflat had a puncture at a weekend on holiday in Canberra and they didn't carry a spare when called them, all they said was I would have to wait till Monday when the shops open, not sure if NRMA would be any different, any experiences with either?

I have bmw road side, it has nice features included if your more then 70kms from your home. I like having a bmw tech come out if u break down.
on the other hand because it is bmw road side assist they have a tiny team on call compared to nrma ect. So wait times are usually much longer. It took about a hour and 20mins for them to come to my rescue a few weeks ago, then another 1hr + to get a tow truck in.

Check the small print - do they contract to another service out of hours and in remoter areas? I recall one of our previous cars factory assist did that.
Aside from that, if you can change/sort a tyre, the most likely event will be a flat battery. Do BMW Assist sell you one 24/7 like NRMA do? I've found that service extremely helpful on several occasions.

^ dont think they carry batteries around. When i had a flat battery they jumped it and its been fine since.
The thing i would really look out for is how many free tows you can have. Coz really road side assist can only jump start your car and change your tire. Anything else will require a work shop to look at the car and a tow.
