Which detailer spray do you guys use?

Saw a lot of your cars on your pics and stuff, and I'm stunned at how much they shine!

I dont currently use a detailer spray, maybe thats why I cant manage to get the super shine you guys get.

So which product do you buy? Any special grandma trick to fine tune it?

Thanks in advance!

I always use Meguiars quick detail spray with a microfibre cloth after a wash.

Ditto on Meguiars. It works well and does not leave a greasy film or glossy finish.

Try Zaino, I use the z-8 spray after washes.

Meguiar's and mother's are good OTC stuff too.

I use Meguiar's, ran out of Z-8 and just picked up the Meg. Decent job.

Meguires - by accident I found that Walmart had the "Ultimate" variety for the same price CT sells the normal smaller spray.

However, I rarely use it for cleaning the paint after washing, microfibre is enough alone to get all of the water spots - I mostly use it for clay bar.

I'm hooked on Duragloss #951 AW. Amazing QD, lasts forever and it's dirt cheap.

For a nice quick shine I used to use Meguire's quick detailer when I had a silver car, now I use Turtle wax spray wax (the stuff you put on while still wet and then shammy off) This stuff works great on black! Keep in mind my car is an 06 as well!

I've tried them all and I still come back to the Meguiar's. For the price you really can't beat it. Doesn't streak at all, smells decent and leaves the paint smooth. Their Ultimate Variety is good, but I really don't think it's worth the extra money, I couldn't notice a difference and I'm really picky. I actually used to LOVE WET from Eagle One, but they either discontinued it or it's just hard to find.

wow! Looks nice for an 06! As I recently found out I'd have to redetail my entire car... so I hope it would look as good as yours =)

Which ones do I don't use would be a better question.

I currently use:

Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer
Clearkote Quickshine
Poorboy's Spray & Wipe
Chemical Boy's Synthetic-Acrylic polymer detailer
Finish Kare FK-425
Meguiar's Final Detail (discontinued)

I also have Mothers and Meguiars off-the-shelf variety as well. They're ok.

My favorite so far is between the Optimum and FK. Both are better than the regular Meguiar's and Mother's by far. (the FK is hard to get in Canada though).
