335i drivetrain is pretty tough (same as M5/M6)

I found out the manual 335i has the same ZF type G gearbox as the M5/M6. So it should be good for a fair bit of abuse. It should be able to handle 550 + ft/lbs without worry.

I would LOVE to know that it uses the same gear box, but I can't believe it... too good to be true.

I assume you are talking about the manual gearboxes.

so i wonder if the engine is capable of making 400 +, b/c the germans would be pretty stupid to put a highly rated gearbox, if it wasnt capable of doing it....!

how when the m6 only comes with smg????

M5 and M6 will come with manual transmissions in 2007.
