Holy #@% - roundel removal
I read through the DIY's where all of you guys stick credit cards, or screwdrivers wrapped in microfiber around the BMW hood roundel to pry it off by how the @#%@# did y'all fit it in there? I feel like an idiot asking this but I can't even get floss in between.. this shit is stuck on there for good.
Any tips??? Thanks EDIT: Okay! Got it, I used a metal "L" shaped thing as leverage, stuck some 3M double-sided tape on the "L" shaped tool and the original emblem and pulled just enough to sneak a credit card under.. rest was a piece of cake.. JBSPEED CF roundels FTW Thanks for the suggestions.. god bless 3M double-sided tape Last edited by herro; 04-02-2010 at 09:51 PM.. |

i used one of those plastic bands they use for shipping large boxes..usually wrapped around tv boxes etc...cut it short enough..then used a credit card to get under the emblem and stick the plastic band through to the other side and lined up the edges..then you gotta slide the band so its on an angle so that it is making contact with both pegs on the back of the emblem (the top part of the band should be right near the "B" in BMW, and the bottom near the lower right blue part). then firmly but carefully pull straight up on both ends of the band and there you go!
