Need help...I need to find my car!!!

Hello to everyone in this forum. I've been trying to track my car since the vessel left Germany on Nov 1st. My CA could not tell me the name of vessel my car is on.

In order to get to PR the route would be Germany to Charleston, to Jacksonville and finally Puerto Rico. Right now I don't have any idea where my car should be.

I'm going crazy. My car's VIN is WBAWB735X7P021697. If someone gets a positive ID somewhere between Charleston and PR, let me know.

I've been calling the 800 number and it says "in transit" since Nov 1st.

Please help

First of all, your CA should be able to tell you what ship it is on..if he isn't it hasn't left yet, or he is lying/being lazy.

Try putting your VIN # in here..their website has been down today, but you should be able to see it if it is on WW's ships. Check the sticky thread about order tracking for more info.

The website isn't down, it's just been changed so the direct link to the auto tracking page is broken. There is a link on that page that takes you to the main page where you can pick cargo tracking and then auto. Or go here:

In my experience after your car leaves Germany the 800 number is pretty useless.

I did send an email to W&W with the server error that happens when you try to track. Hopefully they will fix it.

I spoke to a representative of W & W located in Halifax, Canada at about 1:30pm Eastern Standard Time. She confirmed their computer difficulties stating that the main server (that is apparently having all the problems) is located in Oslo, Norway. W & W will be working on the system tonight (i.e after 10 pm EST) to hopefully fix the problem for tomorrow. She also said that this problem likely would not be affecting the loading of vehicles onto their ships.

If your shipping company is Harms you can call them directly and they will tell you the name of your ship and approximate date it will get to port. They won't be able to tell you much else though.

Don't know if this helps at all but it might be a clue. I don't know if you contacted K-Line and gave them your VIN# whether they could give you more info.

I just checked the location of the EMDEN and is already on their way back to Europe.

Let's see if I have better luck searching with other carriers.

I think mine left Germany about the date or 1 day earlier. It has been stating in transit since Nov 1 until today when i called the 1800 numbers. It said your car is at the port waiting for shipping vessel. That is the same message before Nov 1. I hope my car is in Charleston port, not still waiting in Germany Anyone got the same waiting vessel message when your car arrived at the US port?

No, as my vehicle was nearing end of production, it seems like the 800 changed quite a few times, from await transport to POE, released to carrier to POE, at POE awaiting shipping vessel, to in transit and contact your center.

I thought that it was when in doubt, contact the CA? I believe it's their job to look this information up for you. If you don't pay for your car, they don't get the $$$. Unless they sell it to someone else I guess.

My car arrived on the 15th, and I get the same message.."your car is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel", even though WW says it was discharged...according to my CA, he says it is at the docks, awaiting transport to the VPC...you are probably in the same situation.

The more you look in different places the more confused I get. Yesterday I called the 800# and it said that it was awaiting for a vessel, maybe because it was getting first to Charleston, NC and then to Jacksonville, FL.

Today I called the 800# and it says "in transit". I looked in three different carriers and no one could match the VIN#. I also checked in the owners circle website and it says "at VPC". So, I don't know who has the most accurate info.

I won't give up!!! More will follow!!

The 800 # changed to in transit today and owner circle said at VPC. Hopefully is on the way to the Sunshine State
