Thin furry strip just under DVD / CD player..

Hi,

In my E92 (with nav) I have a little furry strip (like part of some velco set) on the chrome center piece just behind the ash tray and therefore below the CD / DVD player - does anybody else have this? you can't see it unless you really look for it.

Cheers

A what??? how does this work then? I must admit the dash does creak and stuff while travelling but after a few attempts of trying to determine the exact problem I found by sticking a few fingers just above the strip and pushing and the bits of plastic up it all goes quiet!!!!

I was wondering what I needed to use to make it permantly quiet....

Basically stops surfaces touching each other and therfore eliminates associated rattle/creaking/knocking/squeaking.

Take a look at the back of the thing you plug your seatbelt into... there's more of the furry stuff there too!

Thanks. I've installed some of my own and the dash is super quiet now as I would expect.
