Uneven Front Tire Wear on 2008 E90 335xi - Help!

Has anyone come across this type of wear pattern for their front tires? i have sport package stock 18s Bridgestone RE050 and after only ~14000km (car as 28000kms, but half is on my winter tires/rims) they are so worn down on the inside that i got a flat!!! car is stock and i dont track it, and rear tire wear is perfectly even i have 70% tread left on the rear.

The dealer took the case to head office, they will go 50/50 on replacing the front tires... i think they should pay for both. Also they wont cover alignment under warranty so i have to pay for that too.

I'm pretty pissed off because a year after i got the car they replaced front stabilizer bar + bushings due to squeaking. 6months after that i had the alignment done. 6 months after that (this winter) the front suspension still squeaks going over speed bumps!! What is wrong with my car it's only 2yrs old!!!

Ha. My REO50s didnt even last that long they developed a nice inside sidewall bubble. Take this as a sign to get rid of those crappy Bridgestones.

They're giving you that 50% due to Bridgestones cupping, but when I did it I *THINK* they covered the alignment cost as well. Can't remember any more, since it happened at about 12K on my 2006 that I got in 2005.

There's a TSB on the bridgestone floating around here somewhere

I have this on the outside of both my front tires. Not quite this bad though. I'd say there is about 35% tread left on the center of mine. I'm going to get an alignment soon.

looks like your camber is too negetive.

That can be from too much toe out as well as too much negative camber. It's definitely from an alignment problem.

Looks alignment related.

Probably more of a toe problem than camber problem.

Thanks to everyone for writing back, i appreciate the feed back a lot. It makes sense to me that the alignment is out, whether it be toe or camber or both. What gets me is that i had the alignment done a year ago, and have had the stabilizer bar + bushings replaced already (still squeaks, Dealer to investigate soon) - And yet the dealer wont replace both tires and do another alignment!

Once i've had the car fixed i'll post how it went and what the dealer says.

Thanks again everyone.

These tires look exactly like mine do - I don't think it has anything to do with camber, or toe. My car's alignment was checked recently, and it was in spec. Furthermore my car is completely stock. Having seen how the stock Turanzas wear, and now seeing the RE050's do the same thing, I think that the RFT wear like that. One more reason to get away from them.
