Noob Looking to add some HP to 2007 335i
Hi,
I own a 2007 335i in USA and have been doing some reading on the mod chips and how you can add HP to a bemer using these. Being a newbie can anyone of you guide me in the right direction with the PROS and CONS of this mod. Thanks! |

Pros = you go faster
Cons = you spend $ Topic has been beaten to death. Search JB3. Procede. JB+ for piggyback info. If you have a warranty still, you will have to remove the mods before service to keep your warranty. I'd say go for it. Make sure you have the correct supporting mods and you should be safe.

As noted previously, pros are that you go faster and make the car more enjoyable.
Cons: modifying is addicting, and usually doesn't stop with just a flash. Where are you at in Texas? We should have a dealer near you. |

Which tune you should go with really depends on your needs and how much money you want to spend. I recommend thoroughly researching JB+, JB3, Procede, GIAC, and DINAN

To the original poster.. Have you thought of a JB+ to get your feet wet into the tuning world. It also comes with a 6-month trade-in warranty so that if you decide to upgrade to the JB3 you get a full refund of your JB+ purchase price put towards the JB3 PnP PM me for more info if you want. Mike |

Hi OP,
Most tuning vendors offer 14 day money back guarantees. I would recommend cycling though as many as you can to see what you really like. Junk

OP- Research your tune options carefully. Or you will end up doing what a lot of other people are doing/did: take a loss by selling their tune used in the classified section and then purchase something that best suited your needs in the first place.

OP, modding your car is a slippery slope. it comes with an addiction to upgrading with all bolt-ons, and then, you will want more.
so, all i can say is: you're going to f***ing love it! just read around about the "tunes" or chips or whatever, but dont get too worked up about the politics behind them just make a decision and if you need help with anything, im sure this forum will help support the needs... usually by a simple search! good luck and let us know what route you decide to go!
