Since i got my car i have been washing it myself every sunday late afternoon. winter is coming and it's getting real cold, so i decided to take it to a hand wash. A hand was and wax costing $70.00 really didn't excite me. when i used to wash my car i usually take it to the DIY places (Vending Car Wash) and take a bucket with so i could hand wash them, usually only takes like $10.00 for me.

Now the question is, do you guys still wash by yourselves since it's getting really cold or do you take it to the 'professionals'? and how much average for a wash and quick wax?

i really can't stand paying $70.00 for a hand wash and wax every week. Plus now i got swirls on my car don't know since when and i guess it's gonna cost like shit if i ask them to detail the car.
