Vorsteiner CSL Boot Paint Scheme
I purchased a 3D Design Carbon Fiber Diffuser (1x1) which is now on the car and I also ordered a Vorsteiner Boot (1x1) which will be here soon. I'm looking to you guys for advice on how to paint it.
Option #1 Paint the whole thing leaving the 'boot' carbon. Option #2 Paint the whole thing leaving the 'boot' carbon and also the license plate area. Here's my ride: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=354678 What do you guys think? |

my vote is to leave the tail and the inner plate box lines exposed.
since your car is black, the CF would be very subtle.

I left the license plate area exposed, as well as the lip... then faded the top of the bootlid. I have a SG car though, so it doesn't stand out as much as the AW ones above. You can only really see the fade in bright sunlight.

I'm waiting on Greyhound to make a decision, should be sometime in the next 60 days. If they deny the claim, I will ship the trunk back to the guy and file a claim with my credit card. They will give me most of my money back (unfortunately I had money in my Paypal account so I won't get that back) and they can deal with PayPal and the seller. Small claims is also an option but I'd need to put a little research into it first. Feel free to send the guy hate mail http://e90post.com/forums/member.php?u=43307 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=winhath17 |
