Anyone on the UNDINE departed 11/22?
My E92 just showed on transport today, anyone else waiting on the TORRENS bound for NY? Of course it's got to be a 15 day'er, couldn't be one hitting in 11 days! I know it's only a few days, but understand my 99 M3's boat starting to sink when it was enroute and that added almost a month with the return to port and reload, so I am anxious to see the boat get here. Human nature, we all want instant gratification, I almost wish they were made in SC....I did say almost wished! Welcome aboard anyone else!
EDITED, my CA just called and said he made a mistake and it is on the TORRENS |

Undine, Independence, Torrens
Hi. My CA is new and was going to get back to me regarding the ship my e92 is on; however, it did also post as en route either on Nov 21 or 22. I couldn't wait anymore and conducted my own research and it shows that I could be on either one of the three ships listed in my title. I'm not even sure if it'll land in NY,NY or Charleston, SC. Anyone have any ideas which port if final destination is CHICAGO?

You can use your VIN to determine the ship
For Chicago, I believe someone said NY in another post, you can do a search to be sure, but if you go to the east coast shipping company listed in the ordering guide, just enter your VIN from owner's circle and it will tell you what ship youre on, and when and where it's docking. With that date, sounds like youre on the Torrens with me, the Undine was leaving next on the 22nd. Waiting is so much fun!

OH YA! The new ride is on the Undine, getting the tour of Europe before coming home via Halifax. The Wallenius Wilhelmsen site was FINALLY updated overnight to show that I made it. Currently, the boat is headed to Sweden for some Friday night fun and then onwards.

Try this one
Try using this link for auto tracking, if I put my VIN in on it, it shows being loaded and shipment number, etc. If that comes up, look for the EDxxx-x number on the middle of the page, if you click on it, it will show you the progress from port to port. The Torrens is currently in port at Belgium and is scheduled to leave today or early tomorrow(have to call to get that specific info, but patience is not one of my strong points!). If your VIN does not show up in their system and your car has left port for sure, your car probably is not docking on the east coast and you should check the other shippers listed on the order guide on this forum. Good Luck!

Interesting I notice this ship doesn't go to Antwerp, but goes to Gothenborg.....wonder if it picks up any Volvos, i.e. if Volvos are still produced there....

Thanks so much 13307! Turns out my car is on the Patriot scheduled to arrive in Charleston, SC on December 9 (I guess I have a longer wait). Believe me, patience is not one of my strong traits as well. Thanks again!

Picus, looks like we're the only ones, so far, on the Undine. Anyways, the Undine is scheduled to leave Gottenburg (Goteborg), Sweden at 16:00 (which I believe is 10:00 am EST). I bet it spent so much time here picking up Volvo's destined for Canada & U.S. I just hope they are not in front of our cars once the boat arrives in Halifax.
Next stop, Zeebrugge, Belgium. |

If you go to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Shipping website - http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp - and go to Cargo Tracking, then auto cargo, enter your VIN# as the Cargo ID #. A screen will come up for you car showing it is on the Undine, etc. Click on the Voyage Number and the Voyage Details page will come up with the schedule, with the ports that it has already left shown in red.
Also, if you really want to go nuts, you can track the Undine via www.AISLive.com. You will have to register but it's free. Also, it only covers ports and approaches to ports so it may wander in and out of coverage before heading into the North Atlantic. The lastest from AISLive shows the Undine rounding the top of Denmark. (Sorry, I can't figure out how to paste the graphic from the website to a post or e-mail for that matter - However, the current view is at http://aisfree.aislive.com/Influx.as...rak%20Overview . Anyways, once it is in the North Atlantic, most ships turn on some sort of tracking device that is followed on this site: http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/search.phtml . Just enter the ship's name or its call sign - Undine or SHJC. However, the info there is really stale, from Nov 17, when the ship was Europe bound heading into the English Channel. Can't wait till I doin this

Looks like the lazy Undine is just a little ways out of Zeebrugge right now; I'm sure they spent the entire day gallivanting with local whores or something. Hurry up with my car, Undine!

Yup, closing in on Southampton. What are you guys planning re: fitting winter wheels/tires? Convinced the dealer to mount your set or do you plan on crawling home and mounting there?
(I was originally planning on the latter, now who knows what to expect mid-Jan!)

The dock workers in Southampton only work certain hours - at best from 7 am to 9pm. So even if a ship arrives at, let's say 2 am, it will just sit there until the boys on the dock are ready to go.
Anyways, the Undine is currently berthed in Southampton and scheduled to depart at 6pm local time (1pm EST). Then it's Halifax HO!
