Anyone help me with clearing codes?

Hi

I had in intersting weekend where my car developed a fault. After much fault finding and attempt at DIY fix; I decided to return to stock to go to the stealership.

What I am wondering is, are there any codes that have been thrown?

Does anyone have the necessary eqt (is it a BT cable?) that could help me clear codes with?

I'm in sydney; will obviously travel at your convenience!

Cheers in advance.

Thommo

I have a BMW GT1 and OPS system, but live a couple of states away. Your car can throw faults that aren't necessarily shown on the dash. Once a fault is lodged you need to clear it with the GT1/ISTA system and that is the only way to get rid of it, presuming of course it is not a hard reoccuring fault.

What were you doing?

Thommo,

I have a BT cable and laptop. Feel free to swing by tomorrow evening (as it's at the office).

If mine does not allow the extra VIN (it is the enthusiast version) then Adrian has a professional version that has unlimited VINs.

Cheers,

S

Yes but it only clears engine related codes, not codes from other modules i.e. the DTC.
