Working with vendor to get new N54 OCC kit. Can you help me piece the N54 Kit?
Guys,
I am emailing back and forth with a vendor to see if they can start making install kits for our platform. Their products seem to be top notch, all we need is for a bracket and fittings/hoses for our beloved N54 engine bays. I am ordering a custom catch can from them and need to piece the fittings/hoses/brackets so I can do a clean install in my baby. Once I have a clean working install I will share my findings with them (as well as on here) and we'll hopefully have a new, fairly priced Catch Can alternative for our cars. They already have a potential E9X candidate in their area. Can you guys please list all the hoses, barbs, adapters and such that came with your N54 OCC kits along with sizes? I need something along these lines:
-Walter

Because I am trying not to spend $240 on a catch can.

I don't think around 200$ to be overpriced for a well-crafted oil catch can. It's also mildly surprising to me that people with 50K+ cars think twice about such amounts, but maybe that's just me (or it has to do with leasing the car). Just my 2c. Alpina_B3_Lux

I like the route you're going, a little cheaper catch can. I just hope the quality is still up there.
OH, congrats on going top of the table!!

first findings for the catch can itself
http://www.perrinperformance.com/pro...ank?category=4 also doing a little searching on google you can find an oil catch can for $25 using a air water seperator, i had one on my SC Civic, worked perfect and easy to hide, then all you need is the hose and adapters. Now if you want it noticable and fancy then its going to cost you, thats why other companys are able to charge so much more cause there are so many guys that want their mods to be noticed.
