Leasing a CPO : Possible?

Has anyone had any experience with leasing a CPO vehicle? Is that even possible?

I am considering a lease option instead of buying a CPO with the F30 coming out in less than 2 years.

I greatly appreciate any comments or insights.

Thanks!

Any advice or suggestions please?

Otherwise, any pointers on a MY2010 lease? How to get the best deals, like picking up a demo car, etc.

Thanks a bunch

cpo cars do not lease well. you cannot lease a used car. your best bet would be to assume somebody elses lease if what you are looking for is a short term lease.

CPOs cannot be leased. But ask about demo vehicles.

You can definetly lease a CPO in America. You can't do more than 36 months and for 3 series and 5 series it really doesn't work well. About the same price as a new lease. But 7 series work well. My C.A. told me this last week.

Thanks. That is great to know. I would drive a new car in that case, and still have it under $0 maintenance. Any idea if you can lease for more than 10k miles/year?

Indeed, you can technically lease a CPO but the rates are insane. You would be much better off leasing a new one.

You can absolutely lease with more than 10k miles per year. The standards are 10k, 12k, and 15k, but you could even go a little higher. I leased my E90 with 15k. Monthly payment increases (albeit, slowly) with the more miles you need.

The money factor is usually so high on a preowned car vs a new car that it would not be cost effective...

Agree. Looked up the numbers yesterday and it does not make any sense. Driving a new vehicle for nearly the same or even smaller monthly payments would be the way to go.

Thanks everyone.
