how much boost can you run on 335i

I am looking to do some performance engine mods now.I have DCi on my car.Next looks to be the JB3-2.0.whats the max recommended boost to put on a otherwise stock 335i? what is a good constant running boost for day driving or long drive?if there is any lol.I would like to also keep my warranty in case i have to go back to the dealer.I know the JB3 i can unplug.do you think the DCi voids warranty?Last thing for now is boost gauge, whats recommended, good?

Any modifications can void your warranty. Your safest bet is to remove everything prior to service. If you go the JB3 route, I would stick to map 3 at the highest. It's also recommended that you purchase a BT Tool for code clearing and diagnostics. In the rare case you do throw a tuner code, the BT Tool will be able to clear this for you. That or the procede, it has a built in code clearing feature. It really depends on how indepth you get into tuning your car. But imo, everyone should own a BT tool.

On a stock car we recommend map 3 which runs about 12-13PSI range. The Rix Vent gauge is probably the best gauge IMO. Like mentioned above the BT tool is a great idea to own.

if you get a procede (do it!) you really don't need a BT tool. It's a nice addition but completely unnecessary for the main thing you'll be using it for (code reading/clearing).

Garage List
2007 BMW 335  [9.00]
On a stock car 12-13PSI seems safe. Full bolt ons and 93 octane, 14-15.5. Full bolt-ons + 93 octane with Meth 15.5-16.5. Full bolt ons, Race Gas + Meth up to 17. Full bolt ons, Race Gas + Meth _ Nitrous 17-20.

Just from anecdotal/ casual observation.
