We ordered the new 2011 LCI e93 a few weeks ago. From memory, the sales person said that the USB audio interface was no standard in the LCI models. But for some reason when I go to international websites (such as US and UK) to build the car, it has it as an option.
Does anyone know? I can't believe bmw.com.au hasn't been updated with the lci information yet.
I also read that all 2011 models will have HD radio as standard. Does this include the LCI e92/e93 models?
Oh and apparently business navigation gets a interface bump too?

Not sure about whether it's standard for the LCI or not so can't answer that I'm afraid.

However, I do know that you can't rely on sites from UK or US to find out if your car has something standard. In the US, M-sport and xenons are optional on the 135i while it's all standard kit over here in Australia.

It looks like Business Nav will be updated with the new interface. Refer to this thread...

The only official announcements I've seen re the HD Radio were from BMW North America. BMW Oz may or may not follow, but you will have to wait for any announcements closer to LCI launch date.

I recently ordered the LCI E92 and the salesman told me that USB is now standard also. Not sure about the digital radio though. I heard last year that BMW and Audi were planning to introduce it into their cars but I haven't been able to get it confirmed by anyone.

edit: Confirmed USB is standard on the LCI model.

sweet! thanks for the post. I've also found the brochure for the LCI convertible!!!
However, I don't think they're very relevant to the Australian market as they seem to have a lot of things as optional that we get as standard.
