Maintenance under warranty

So I'm coming up on 15k miles but it's only been about 10 months since I bought the car (daily commuter). Is there a recommended schedule for bringing the car in for maintenance services under warranty?

Also, it doesn't seem like the warranty covers much, oil change once a year, brakes and spark plugs, but these don't seem to go out before 50k miles. Anyways, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Unless your car's service indicator states that you need service they will not perform any repairs. Now if you car's brakes feel squishy, even though the service indicator shows that the brakes are fine, they will check for free and may replace items if they find them to be defective or out of spec. However, most likely they will state, checked car, cannot duplicate problem, everything is within spec.

Good luck.

The car will tell you when it needs something done, it all depends on how much you drive and how hard you drive, the cars computer will figure it all out for you.

The free maintenance is not a warranty. It is a maintenance program or plan. The reason to mention this is that it helps to control the confusion that folks seem to have about BMWs service offerings.

For example.
If one purchases an extended warranty, make sure it is the limited warranty and not the extended maintenance plan. Otherwise, it is a hell of a surprise to try to get - say, some DI fuel injectors replaced at 60K miles and the dealer hands you a bill for a few hundred bucks per injector, plus labor - and the customer stammers,"But, but I have an extended warranty", and the dealer says, "Nope. You are covered for oil changes, windshield wipers, and brakes. You bought the extended maintenance plan, not the extended warranty. Now. which credit card will you be using?" It has happen.

Your brakes will go a lot sooner... just wait lol... my rears were gone by 20k and fronts by 30k... since you're in MA... I'm sure you will be needing rears very soon.
