i had a couple of OBX products...and it was the cheap alternative at the moment..
I had trailing arms, turbo inlet and other components..(on my subie) they fit right and it was a pretty damn good CUSCO imitation...but then again...it wouldnt be my 1st choice on something like headers.

remember ..on pipes its not only about the material but the welds, the bents and the quality of it

Very true, they are backed with a lifetime from them, however long they stay in business. But that price is so tempting.

They are okay products. But things will sometimes be a bit rough around the edges.

OBX has been around for a long time. They mostly deal with Japanese import parts.

Worth it, raceland is coming out with their headers in 3 months.
It will be around the same price.

These are a supersprint rep, all you need is the o2 simulators and you have 15whp gain from primary cat delete.
Make sure your using the OEM muffler though.

quite possible that the design of aftermarket mufflers are not designed properly to optimise the flow and back-pressure for our N/A engines.

Hello,

I think that this headers is thing YOU MUST HAVE !!! As I look on the price it is the least expensive mod for the real power increase. According my experiences with the cheap headers, the power gains are very good.

Here is the 328i (2002 -E46) with just intake, sport muffler and headers. Power 220 bhp. He gained 30 bhp !!! (in europe the measurement system is partly different, dyno recalculate the losses and calculate real engine power)

also, do aftermarket headers affect warranty? I would think so, but am not sure. I know you mentioned having to delete primary cats... wouldn't that not pass inspection if you did that?

Nice! I would love these. Also a 3 stage intake manifold and secondary cat deletes!

What you guys need to do is install an O2 Sim before you slap on your headers cause once you get a CEL light it's on your car forever unless you clear the codes with BT Tool, and that thing is not cheap!

Stage 3 intake manifold and primary cat deletes is what you want. Leave the secondary on, it's quite possible you can pass emissions still, not too sure though.

I hope Raceland comes with with their stuff soon! OBX is not willing to confirm with me if these headers would work on the N52B25 the 2.5L engine.
