Tire noise

I recently have been noticing a distinctive sound coming from the drivers side tires. Its making a swish swish swish sound when driving at low speeds. You cannot hear it at higher speeds. I tried to lower the tire pressure and then added more than normal. Has anyone had anything like this or heard of anything. I have tried searching all around and even called the dealer. Could it be from an uneven tire wear if I had too much pressure in the tires for an extended period of time? Please help, its getting warm and I have to drive with the windows up so I dont hear it.

I'd also like to know the source of this swishing noise. Ever since I bought my 335 in February I've heard the same noise your describing. I seem to only notice the noise when taking off from a light in first gear at low speeds.

I am not positive but I think my tires had way too much pressure in them for the winter. I had the tires pulled to check my brakes and the tech lowered the pressure in the tires. My thought is maybe they had uneven wear. I am not sure but thats my guess. The tires make the noise when turning or going straight and its not the brakes or anything else. If it was uneven wear, I am wondering if the sides will catch up to the middle and balance back out. Again, I am not sure but I am sure that I dont feel like buying new tires.

Garage List
your tires are chopped on the inside..uneven wear per tire press being either to much or to little, does it get louder when u come to a stop at low speeds? If soo. than your tires are shot..they may have plenty of thread life, but their still shot per choppiness..
