TV drive limiter on E92 335i Coupe
Has anyone worked out how to disable the drive limiter for the TV on the E92 335i Coupe so I can watch TV without having to be in park?

I'm also in Sydney and rang BMW here to see if they could toggle a setting in the software so the TV would work <5km/h (rather than with the park brake on) - which is how the old 5-series used to work - but they said No, comes from the factory like that...

I know that on aftermarket HU's there is simply a wire that you run to the parking brake (I guess park could be used also), and when that wire is grounded (ie. you pull the brake handle or put the car in park) the TV will work. I'm not sure if the OEM nav works like this, but its just an idea. Maybe you would just have to ground a wire.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like TV is only available in some markets (Europe and Australia at least). I spoke to a guy in Germany yesterday who sells a hardware module that overrides the TV limiter, but you have to pull half the dash panels off to install it, (plugs into the Nav/iDrive computer) which I'm not too keen on....
