getting prepped for summer, any suggestions?
So, I've had the car detailed and put a few mods on over the past couple of weeks, it's looking a lot better than when I first bought it however, I need some suggestions please. I was thinking of black lines and ceramic tints but I kinda like the contrast right now and the visibility! I have already decided to do a vinyl wrap but not until next spring because I hate 668 Jet Black, it is the softest paint ever. V4 is something I've been thinking of too...I dunno...rims but gotta wait until next spring because I'm between frozen grey and flat black. (be warned this is a inexpensive 8.1MP camera - not the best quality)
I would like to thanks PICUS for the amazing exterior detailing job he did before these shots! Any idea's? Last edited by TeutonicDan; 04-30-2010 at 10:14 AM.. Reason: bad memory |

nice....maybe consider vinyling the silver trim first to matte black? a light tint, ie. 35-40%
i don't think E92's have blacklines; only e90 pre-lci

PICUS, yesterday I thought, I can't believe I didn't even mention anything about that. I guess I was excited or something. I have updated the original message. It wasn't intentional otherwise I wouldn't be sending anyone to you.
You did a fantabulous job brother. |

Ceramic 35% is very light (in the summer time) and that's what I have.
Since you have a dark color car, may I suggest 15% for the back and 35% front (so-called legal). Autolinks @ Scarborough list it for $300. Lazer Tint Woodbridge will want about $350; FX Auto Markham between $300-$350; Thornhill Tint last quote me $400+. |
