Hello,
New member to the "family" Last weekend I picked up a CPO 07 Monaco Blue (26,000 miles) e90 with the sport package! First Bimmer ![]() In any case; I've been reading and but I'm a bit confused and want to make sure I understand. I'm looking to install HID in both my fog and headlight. I'm going to order from DDM Tuning 6K for both fog and headlight. Along with the HID I was going to order the "Error Code Eliminator-3" Here's where I'm confused; do I order one set for each or just for the headlights and use a 4700uf capacitor for the fog? I also read some where here that DDM's Code Eliminator doesn't work? Here's where the spool feeding comes in: What the correct way of installing HID's? Thanks in advance and I hope to contribute to the site in the future! |

Get ready for trial and error on those.
More details on the capacitors: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=338009 I would recommend an error free plug an play setup if you want less headaches. |

Welcome.
Dont be a douche bag and put HIDs in halogen headlight housings. You'll make a BMW look like a civic and you will blind oncoming motorists. It is illegal and ticketable in most states. If you want HIDs you get stock xenon housings to put them. A proper conversion will cost you upwards of $1k. |
