Tint Question
Have a question for all of you. I got my 20% tint done all the way around except for the windshield. My question is, is it normal for tint to have one or two very tiny bubbles here and there? Or should it be absolutely perfect, without any bubbles at all?
After washing my car and washing the windows, I noticed a few very small bubbles here and there. From afar, you would not really notice them, but up close when washing up close, you can see them. I just wanted to see if this was normal and if I was being too OCD. Or should I take it into the tint shop where I have a 100% warranty on this? Thanks for your thoughts. |

no bubbles besides the dot matrix area. any decent tint shop should have a warranty for bubbles and peeling. i'd call them asap if its bad but i have always had good tint jobs with a little tiny spec here and there

How long ago did you get it done? I know when I got mine done there was what appeared to be bubbles but it was just the glue that hadn't dried yet. It went away within the first 12 hours of being tinted.

Take it back... unless its been only a few days since u got it tinted... took my car about four days for all the bubbles to go away. Although my car sat inside a garage during this time...

I had a few bubbles. I go to the same tint guy for everything. He told me it's just moisture. Try leaving it out in the sun. That worked for me and they went away pretty quick.
