Question iPhone Cradle

I have an e92 335d with bluetooth and want to be able to charge my iphone 3gs at the same time as using bluetooth, I don't have the usb kit, so is this possible? I don't need to be able to play music from it, just charge and bluetooth.

Just get a car charger? When using bluetooth you don't plug anything into the adapter so you can use a car charger to charge it. BTW, if you looking to stream music over bluetooth, check out the Blackberry Stereo Gateway...search it and you'll find many descriptions from me and others.

I would prefer not to have wires visible to it if possible hence the reason I was looking at the snap in cradle

What model year is your car? Depending on MY I think you can retrofit the OEM cradle. There are also mounts you can buy that will mount on your dash and the only cable you'll see in maybe like 2 inches, from the cradle to behind the dash. I hate seeing wires too but how often do you need to charge your phone in the car? I have the BB stereo gateway I mentioned earlier and I have complete wireless integration in my car (music and phone). Only have to plug in when I charge but I rarely have to in my car.

e92 2007, I have seen the big piece of black plastic under the front arm rest, from the retrofit parts i've seen on realoem, it looks like you can just replace that with a cradle. As for how often, it depends how low my battery is when I leave work but it could be anything from once a day to a few times a week, just thinking the easiest way to do it without changing the visible look of the car aswell

You should definitely get a spec.dock. Replaces the OEM ashtray and plays music through the speakers. Real clean OEM look!
