can you pay for BMW CPO warranty?

well, I'm thinking of buying 07 BMW coupe.

I saw a few good private seller on Craiglist and autotrader... I was thinking of taking it to BMW dealership for a full check-up.

now, Is it possible to pay for the CPO warranty via BMW dealership even though I am buying it privately?

if yes, anybody knows how much it will cost and whether it's worth it?

I doubt it too.....as they would price the CPO warranty into their pricing. Plus, since they have not inspected it, it might become a money pit in repairs.....

okay, what about this?

If I buy a 07 that is STILL under 4 years/80,000Km warranty, will I be able to extend that warranty??

Thanks

i don't know about canada, but in the us, bmw is offering an extended warranty that can be purchased by someone who is not the original owner of the vehicle. Worth a call to a dealership, though.

well, it would be great for people who doesn't want to pay thousands for CPO and take advantage of last few days of no GST in Ontario.
