you should have painted them black! now it looks like a cheap honda with a wanabe bbk... and put the V1 up high near the rear view mirror (they work better up there and its a much more stealth install).. and get painted reflectors and black grills asap (the car looks weird with that aggressive lip and then the weird out of place orange reflectors and the chrome grill with all that black carbon fiber on the bottom)

i've always kind of liked that half carbon fiber aerolip... i was going to get it at one point... lol sorry for being so harsh..

no problem.. and yea i guess you can stick with the red for now.. its not my car so i don't really care as much... and i guess people mod at different rates and that's cool (i had black grills, painted reflectors, an aero lip, and a couple other things sitting in my garage 2 days before I picked up my car from the dealer, and a ton of stuff on order by the time i picked it up).. just have fun with the modding and do the necessary mods asap...

lol well thanks ... it's almost done finally... i just need to pick up my mtech rear this upcoming weekend.. and then i just need the lci tails and whenever the bmw oem performance mtech diffuser comes out i'm going to get that too (and i'll be done, maybe some slotted/drilled rotors and some other small bits but nothing big)..

and it took me over a year to get my car how it is now, i switched back and forth between a bunch of different things... my advise is definitely to take your time and save up for the real deal and don't get replicas because you're going to see yourself wanting the real deal once you get bored of the reps (it happened to me)...

I agree with Cuban that Red is a little bit like your trying to fake that you have a big brake system on your car.. I just painted my calipers a silvery metal color. Its the same color as if you were to clean the Calipers and make em silver again..It stands out nicely with my black wheels.

which paint kit did you go with? how long did you have to wait to let it fully dry/cure before driving on them?

Yeah, red is a bit bright for stock but good if you want people to notice them.
