It seems like my keyfob is definitely losing range when pressing lock or unlock as im walking to and away from my car. Non CA, and the only FOB I use. I used to be able to unlock from about 10 or more cars away. Now I have noticed it is only unlocking when I am a few steps away. No tints on my car, nothing has changed. I will continue to do testing, but I am not as confident in locking my car as I walk away. I do have the alarm and hear the beeps. I used to be able to lock my car from my bedroom with the car in the driveway, now i am unsure if it still does.

Mine isn't any different. I checked with the service department and they told me that it was normal. I just make it a point to lock the car before I walk away and if I am in doubt, I just walk back to check on it.

Non CA cars have the rechargeable battery. Unless for some reason this battery is already dying and not holding the charge, but it has only been 10 months with the car. It is just more of a convenience issue especially when it is hot and I want to have the windows and sunroof open as I am walking to the car.
