EVOtech software Holiday Special!!

EVOtech Holiday Special!!

Due to recent DISCUSSIONS with EVOtech, we have worked out a discount for an E90 Post members!

The software will be discounted to $595!! This price Expires 12/31/2006!

Now I understand that there has been a lot of speculation based off of the original dyno post, however, everyone knows that Tyler’s and Hunter’s dyno was a true independent dyno provided by your own forum member. EVOtech USA officially never quoted the higher figures that were initially put out. Since then they have flashed many cars which have shown an average 20hp gain.

Here are a few questions that we have gotten in the past.

Does this Void my warranty?
If any failure is pinpointed to the software, EVOtech will cover the factory BMW warranty.

Is this flash detectable by my dealer?
The flash is not detectable.

What happens if the dealer flashes my car stock?
You have purchases the rights to the software, if your car has been reflashed to stock, all we would need is your receipt from your dealer stating so, and we will reflash your ECU for free plus shipping and handling.

How does this effect my gas economy?
Your gas economy will actually increase with the EVOtech software, however we have noticed that many of our clients tend to enjoy the power gains with more aggressive driving.

What are the actual gains?
The actual wheel gains that we have personally witnessed are:
325 15hp 15lb tq
328 12hp 12lb tq
330 10hp 10lb tq

Do I need to take my ECU out?
Yes you will need to send your ECU to us here at Creative Autoworks LLC, your ECU will then be overnighted back to you.

How long will you need my ECU?
We promise to make our best effort to have your ECU back in your hands by the 3rd business day after we receive it here.

Where do I send my ECU? And what is your address?
Creative Autoworks LLC
7171 Ronson Road Suite A
San Diego, CA 92111

858-279-8900

What is the cost?
$595 during our December special.

When is this special over?
December 31st, 2006

What if I were to get other mods (intake/exhaust/etc.) in the future after getting this flash now, would that need another ECU flash?

And would that improve the gains more than what is posted above?
Or is the gains tested with after market intake/exhaust/etc.?

The gains are based off of complete stock applications. As for reflashes, yes you can get a reflash for the new modifications you do to your E90, however there is a $50 fee for any additional custom tunes.

This is correct, for most of our clients, we have been able to get their ecu's back to them on the third day as long as they we're shipped for AM delilvery.

We actually do have software for the 335. However, we are not selling it at this time due to the risk of having a customer's engine blow, and BMW blaming us for their mistake. So as soon as we know that the 335 are no longer having engine problems, we will start selling the software.

Do you have an estimated release date and price for your 335i software? Some people may be interested in waiting if it is significantly less expensive than the competitor. Also if you have the software then you must have some performance figures. Can you share some of your data even though you aren't ready to release it just yet.

Thanks

Regular price is $895 as of now. We are working right now to get that price lower. A lower regular price will not happen until the new year, but will not likely be any lower than $700. So this holiday special will still save you some good $$$.

The estimated release date is end of Jan. By then BMW should have the coolant issue taken care of. We are planing on verifying EvoTech's figures by having a car dynoed by an independent dyno shop. EvoTech's figures are 306hp to 375hp and 295ft-lbs. to 343ft-lbs. The pricing has not yet been finalized. We will know when we get the go ahead to start selling the software.

Evan
I’m just curios:
Evotech ECU remap software remap cost ranges from $399 for Mini Copper to $1595 for BMW 750i. How is this price calculated per HP gain or base price of the vehicle?
If the E46 328 for the same gain cost $590 list- how is E90 cost is $895?
I’m not trying to negotiate as just rationalize for myself before making a purchasing decision.

You're saying that once you release your software flash for the 335i you'll be able to take the car's engine from 306HP to 375HP? That's a gain of 69HP! If you could do that for a 330i and give me 324HP, I'd say where do I drop off the cash. Even with a 20 or 30HP gain I'd say that. $600 is to much to justify for simply 10HP. That's an increase of less than 4% the engine's power.
