Circular Motions with Zaino??

Hey everyone... as most of this forum knows by now I am planning on doing my first Zaino detail Wed lol (pre-thanks to shim, gta, and ninja). On the zaino website it says to use circular motions to apply... I thought this was a huge no no.

Also, do you all agree with the vertical motions for the sides and the front to back motions for the hood/roof/deck? Thanks all!! :rocks:

From your link: Squirt a dime size dab of polish on your applicator and rub it into your paint using circular hand motions. Then, go over the same area using a straight back and forth motion on top panels and an up and down motion on side panels. Allow the polish to haze over (20 minutes is sufficient).

I think the Zaino site is explaining that you spread it onto the panel using a circular motion, then use back and forth to actually polish the panel. That should work, but as the experts have said, there's bound to be less chance of problems if you just do the whole thing back and forth.

Thanks everyone.... what about the vertical motions for the sides and the front to back motions for the hood/roof/deck? According to Zaino this allows the light to display a deeper look to the paint?
