My visit to the Pagani factory
Part of my Motorstars trip was taking a tour to Pagani. The facility is INSANELY small so it's no wonder fewer than 30 cars a year are built. That said, it's a very clean facility with lots of technology. Our tour guide (who is wearing a teal and white jacket) was Francesco, a former F1 engineer who helped build Schumacher's cars from at least 99-00 and who worked for various other manufacturers such as Lamborghini as well. He was very kind and very enthusiastic about taking us around.
The showroom consisted of a Zonda Cinque and two Zonda Rs. There was also a 100K stereo system and 100K motorcycle that they built. Again, the facility is very small, so there was not much room to take pictures; i tried my best. There was also Horacio's first car he built (a little open wheel racer powered by a Renault engine I think) as well as a small waiting room). They don't have much merchandise for sale. They also have a guestbook for everybody to sign. About the same time we were visiting, an art school was taking a tour as well. For obvious reasons we were not allowed to visit the design area. We were allowed into manufacturing, but no pictures were allowed. They were building the first Tricolore and repairing a customer's car I believe (it was blue). They were also building their prototype for the new car which supposedly is going to be US-legal. Here are a few pics; enjoy. I'll post pictures of my Lambo and Ferrari museum tours when I have more time. But I gotta get up early for the Monaco GP...

I'll have to check... it costs the same as the stereo system and more than a 911
Edit: I have one more shot, not a good one though. I also uploaded a pict of the supplied AMG engine.

Ferrari will have to come tomorrow; just got home. The Lambo thread is up. I'll try to put everything on Photobucket (including some vids)
