Melbourne Car Problem
Long story short. Ok, my car has been giving out warning of 'increased battery discharge' for the last 6 month on and off. Last night when I started the car it says 'service due' - my car has only done 17k Km. The car started normal after the push of the button but the car sounded weird, like the fan from the engine is constantly on. I drove like 30 mins and realise there is no boost from the turbos. The oil temp is still close to 70F after 30 mins of driving and the fan noise is still contantly on.
So I arrived my destination and stayed for about 20 mins. Back to the car same warning 'service due' but the car drove normal now. Boost is back and fan noise gone. Funny thing is oil temp rise to about 100F in about 3 mins. So what is wrong? Related to battery? Since I have nerver dealt with any dealer here before, your opinion/experience with them is much appreciated. For car service, which dealer is better? Doncaster BMW or Melbourne BMW? Doncaster BMW or Melbourne BMW? I am on the north side so these 2 are closer choice for me. Thanks in advance.

Could be a few different things, although I have never heard of this exact problem - doubt it is much to get too worried about though.
Do you know anyone that is able to read your codes? That will probably give you the answer. Could be the Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit high/low input My car for the last 18 months has been giving me battery warnings but is yet to die... Both those dealerships are good. I had servicing done at kings way and some repairs done at southbank. |
