major Entertainment upgrade plans

looks like i'll be doing the cic upgrade from the folks from poland.

now... I want to do the stereo system upgrade at the same time.

my question is. at this point should I have them code the cic so its in HIFI mode with analog out or should i have them code it logic 7 like what i have now?

Im thinking HIFI so i can get non dsped signal out to my amps

what do you think?

Thanks guys!

What you want is to recode for Hifi which will give you a flat balanced signal for your aftermarket amp(s).

now that that portion has been decided...

since my current system is logic 7 and uses fiber... I dont have the wiring from the deck to the rear amp area for the balanced outputs right?

also.. im guessing i will have 4ch of balanced signal to work with?

What kind of balanced signal am i getting out he headunit exactly? I've few A/D/S/ p4100.2 20th amps to use if possible. does anyone know if these amps are balanced signals compatible?

so many things to think about!

No, you don't have any speakers wires in the OEM Quadralock... you need to do this:

how many speakers CH do you think i should run.

first thing im going to do is removing the center ch.

for the front its easy.

McIntosh xovers with mcintosh tweeters and a/d/s 344is mids

front under seats.. im still deciding between
1. mcintosh 6.5 mid ( more like 7 ) underseat
2. SWS 8
3. MOREL ADMW SW 9

Now for the rear setup...

Should i put a set of ads coax on the door AND a set of a/d/s components on the rear shelf? or delete one of those sets? if so.. which ones should i delete?

Im not so experienced on multi ch setups.. all my previous cars were gull 2ch music only setups most recently a e36 with McIntosh 6.5 MSS650 comps in kickpanel and tiny tiny 4inch coax for very low volume rear fill with two Mcintosh 10s in the trunk...
