Ordering question

I currently have a '08 335xi. The lease expires in about 8months. When I got this car I at the time didn't have a car (as it was totaled) and needed a car as soon as possible. When I dealt with the dealer he found a car that had about 95% of what I wanted in terms of options and got it shipped from another dealer lot within a week.

When I get a new lease, can I have the E92 built exactly as I want it or does that only occur when you outright buy/finance a car? And if I can, how far out do people who are turning in a lease for a new leases start the ordering process?

Appreciate any input...

yes you can order a 100% specific car for a lease. give yourself about 90 days. It will be far enough out that your CA can time it correctly for you

You can order anytime up to end date of your lease. If you are leasing through BMW FS, they will extend your current lease at same terms up to six months. No need to rush.

It's actually 2 three month periods that are month to month
