V1 Phone cord Problem
Hello All!
I have applied too much effort into trying to get my v1 to work and I am very frustrated! According to a couple of threads the power cord is a basic phone cable, and any phone cable should work. So I purchased a regular phone cable, and it didn't work. I checked the wire combination and it didn't match to the v1's original cord. So I went out and purchased another cable that does match to the v1s color combination. But once again when I plug it in, it doesn't work! WTF am I doing wrong. I've tested it with the original and it does get power, so its not a blown fuse. I honestly cant think of what could be wrong. What cable should I go out and buy? ![]()

make sure you have it plugged into the right port on the adapter. one is main and the other is accessory.

I've used slim phone cords from Radio Shack on few cars without a problem. The colour doesn't matter.

Works with my v1 cable, but not with a phone cord. I'll try Radio Shacks tonight.
