Does "Smartphone Integration" come with everything?
BMW describes it as "For iPhone™ and similar devices, allows access to stored music, can improve signal reception, and recharges the battery."
My 335is is in transit and I expect it in about a month. I ordered it with the Smartphone Integration option, but I still have the impression that I need to purchase a piece for my iPhone 3GS that runs about $170? Is that right? I find all kinds of phone snap-in adapters on the IBM accessories website, but none for the iPhone. Can someone with experience please shed light on this? |

And yes you need the snap-in adapter. But make sure you get the one for 6NF or it won't play music, just charge.

The current iPhone USB Snap-in adapter will probably not work in your new car.
I've been told a new adapter will be introduced in the near future. It is for the new E92/E93 models with the "combox". I need one as well for my new E92 320d. |
