New Shots of my car..

Hi all.

Been really busy behind the scenes with the car for the last 2 months and have done a hell of alot

Mods list since my last post up on the car includes:

-: Tinted Windows
-: Carbon side trims
-: Carbon rear diffuser
-: CSL style front splitters
-: SSDD Performance BMW Strut brace
-: Powerflow exhaust tips
-: LED number plate lights

Tints:
Tints were done by Mark's mate Michael. I opted for a dark smoke (1 up from limo) on the back and sides, and then the lightest shade Michael has for the front just so there is a contrast but also hopefully not get too much rozzer attention! Michael did an excellent job especially if you look at how well the tint is bonded to the rear screen. Its as perfect as you will likely see an aftermarket tint be, and this is because he spent close to 2 hours with a heat gun pressing every last bit of moisture out from the dot matrix area on the screen to ensure a great finish.

Carbon side trims:
I actually decided on these after my car was broken into back in Jan... Because the b pillar trim was damaged and I had to replace it anyway. I thought rather than bother getting new trim sprayed up, might as well visit everyone's favourite Teddy and get the trims.

Carbon rear diffuser:
This is my favourite new mod. After deciding to fit the side trims I knew I had to get the rear diffuser too. So I picked this original BMW Performance one up direct from BMW. I wanted to certify perfect fitment with this piece so it had to be OEM. Looks the bollocks imho

Front splitters:
Teddy offered me these on the cheap so I thought it would be rude to say no really. Fitment was a bitch though and these are the only item on the car I'm not 100% happy with. However they do make the bumper look RUDE compared to before. Anyway, these are the pics:

Strut brace:
No words needed. It looks awesome. Very aggressive and I love this piece:

Exhaust tips:
The SECOND I fitted the carbon diffuser I looked down and thought "Ehhh, that exhaust is so noticable now". So the droopy 320d exhaust had to go. Got this fitted by Taz's boys down at Topgear Hayes. Job was good, fills the recess in the diffuser perfectly and looks so so so much better than it did before:

..so I hope you approve of the car! I think she is finished now. Certainly my finances wish for her to be finished! Feedback appreciated.

Looks spot on, the splitters make a big diference to the front end, looks much more aggressive - so does the rear...the exhaust/difuser look awesome! I would agree that its finished now...dont see what else you can do really!

Your car just reinforces my ambivalent attitude to the saloon. Some cars can look so plain and boring - and downright horrible - and yet, and yet, others look really really good - almost to the point of tempting me away from my 2 door crush.

Unlike Will, I will actually own up and say yours is one such example!

Very nice indeed.

True! Theres always another mod

What I actually wanted to do was get the LCI E90 lights (2009-2010) which have the angel eyes but are still halogen. Its an easy swap that way.. Albeit not quite as effective, obviously.. heh.

I can't mod for a while though I'm almost out of money hahaha

I like it a lot...except for one thing. I don't like the roof spoiler thing (the bit across the top of the rear windscreen).

Other than that, I think she looks pretty nice.

@wafik:

I met mate of yours at Harold Wood, chap with an E92 M3 in sparkling graphite. Nice chap, said he was gonna join up here soon.

Like Alan, I've never been a big fan of the saloon, but your mods look great. Only thing I really don't like at all is your plate. Not a fan of moving letters and numbers to create an effect.

Looks great, a good job done well

Why not go for the VRS style bootlid then you can finish it off with the LCI rears, either way it looks good or maybe try out some whiteline rears?

As has been said, not overly keen on the plate (do you get pulled or not with it??) and for gods sake, loose that stupid air freshener!

Also I got slated when I put an M Powah number plate holder on mine, so I'm gonna have to dislike that too. Might even have to add it to the "Clowns" thread...........
