Fiber optic cables
hello everyone, I was adding some XM and amp wires to my z110bt and I noticed that my fiber optic cable was not lighting up like it used too. Let me explain. I have the 2010 335 with the BASE system. The 2 fiber optic cables in the harness, one would always like up as soon as i opened the door or gave power to the car, Now it doesnt. What are the 2 fiber optic cables connected too? How do i test it? Please help, thanks

i'm not sure what the nearest MOST connection is closest to the amp (i'm assuming that's the harness you're referring to), but i do know that only one and not both should have light coming out of it. the other cable receives light to complete the loop. if you don't have light at all, i suspect that a lot of things wouldn't be working properly. is that the case?
